Gaga

I cannot help but wonder if Lady Gaga is inspired by

yet athletic themes...it's very intriguing and
an interesting style.

Sheetseat: chairs of the future

Design by: Eufuk Keskin and Efecem Kutuk

These folding chairs, though nothing too special,
have a great purpose in saving space and material
while serving as a place to sit. Yet in a
way the designs simplicity makes these chairs
quite interesting.

Graffiti Art

Graffiti thought sometimes damaging can be quite
entigueing and is a definite style of art. Check out
this flickr page with a bunch of pics and read up
on a new iniative for LRG clothing line. Some good

Jeff Koons.

What can I say Jeff Koons is my kind of guy.
WCNY/PBS does it again with a great artist
documentary directing my attention to
this man. You have to search him...he just
does some amazing graphic and product design.
His colors are bright and his ideas fun!

Art.

I love simple, clean art; such as this "cup" art
by Boey. See more at: http://iamboey.com

Toyota

I continue to be fascinated with the design of Toyota
cars. My new liking is some of the grills of these cars.
Particularly this one for the Camry. It's almost like
it is smiling at you and it reminds me of the batman logo.

Cool logo

I love this logo for the Lake County Captains; a minor
league baseball team...I was just down in Cooperstown
and I bought a hat with it! It's great!

I never stopped to realize it but there is
something nice graphically about the packaging
of band.aids. Simple graphics and nice colors.

New Minnesota Twins Stadium

I am very interested to see how this stadium looks
when it is complete. But mainly I'm fascinated
by the wood panels, which is unique for a
baseball stadium.

Elizabeth Shippen Green

I saw her work pop up on Antiques road show. Very fun
paintings. I guess she started off drawing with charcoal
and then went over it with watercolor achieving some pretty
jewel like qualities. Good stuff!

Pepsi

This new logo is a bit much for me but I'll get used
to it. I'm not a big soda drinker but I find the
new Pepsi logo interesting...I especially enjoy
their bold color choices. So the company did a good
job in freshin' the brand...we'll see where it goes.

Akadema revisited.

I like this company. They clearly are focusing on creating new
trends in the baseball world. It would be neat to work for them.
I have talked to one of the owners...a nice guy. Here are some
concepts for a heated glove and ambidextrous glove. Both
ideas have come up in my head but they have the money and
the patent!

WalMart

Ok So I'm not a huge advocate of Walmart...I understand it's cheap
but sometimes you get what you pay for. Anyways they came out
with these eco gift cards. They contain poppy seeds that you can
grow. You can also break off a part of the card and use it as a garden
marker. Pretty cool!

Synecdoche, New York

I have to check out this movie. Saw a commercial
for it and it looks interesting.

Old Time Baseball

I really enjoy this picture. To see the roots of baseball through
photographs is just amazing. I also love the old time uniforms.
For example, I really like this sweater Honus Wagner has on
and would like to some day make my own or have someone
make me one similar. Maybe I could even bring the stlye back
into the fashion world. Who knows?!!

Plush

Found some of these baby clothes on babygadget. I just like
them. They are clean and cool. Something I'd like my
kids to wear ans maybe wear myself. Reminds me
a little of Eric Carle. Check out more at:
littleplush.be

Renzo Piano

This guy has done some really cool work. I was watching a little bit
about him on TV (on WCNY). He just seems fascinating. One fact
that I did pick up on is that he is big into transparency in his designs.
I'm going to do some more research on him. Check him out!

Spalding

Great book. If you're a baseball lover and entrepreneur. Explains a lot
and there are a lot of aha moments. Believe it or not Spalding is still
going pretty strong 100 years later. A tour worth taking. Great read
overall, I recommend it.

Arbor Boards

I'm not a boarder or do I "shred knar" but I love this board. Arbor
is dedicated to make more earth friendly extreme sports products.
I just the popping wood grain. So I'll give them so props.
